It’s time for NFL Week 3 fantasy football sleepers. Depth of one’s team is the probably most important aspect of building a fantasy football roster. Winning consistently in fake football requires a slew of players at each position that you know are reliable, regardless of who starts and sits. Obviously, though, deciphering this equation before each week is easier said than done. So to assist you on your journey let’s check out some sleepers capable of scoring solid points for you this week.   Tavon Austin, WR, Rams (at Cowboys) The St. Louis Rams are in the midst of developing a big play offense. And ironically, the Dallas Cowboys remain vulnerable to big plays. Currently, the Rams rank No. 4 in passing offense and Sam Bradford sports a 64.3 completion percentage. He also has not been sacked and Dallas has already given up six passing scores. So, enter Rams rookie target Tavon Austin who caught six passes for 47 yards and two scores against the typically stingy Atlanta Falcons. Plus through two weeks Austin leads the Rams with 19 targets and 12 receptions.   Buffalo Bills Defense (vs. New York Jets) Two weeks in and two nail-biters for the Buffalo Bills. First, they limited Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to 23 points, while also logging two sacks and forcing three turnovers. Although Buffalo lost to the Patriots, that production carried over into Week 2′s victory over Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. Against the Panthers, Buffalo recorded six sack and a pick en route to assisting rookie quarterback EJ Manuel to a one point win. This week, the Bills host AFC East rival the New York Jets and rookie quarterback Geno Smith. Even with a lackluster run defense, Buffalo won’t have issues against the Jets as Smith just tossed three picks against the Patriots. If anything, expect Buffalo to stack the box, suffocate the line of scrimmage and force Smith to make plays. The Jets won’t work as a one-dimensional offense.   Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Steelers (vs. Bears) At first glance the Chicago Bears look like an unfavorable matchup for Emmanuel Sanders and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Looking more closely though, we see that Chicago has managed just two sacks thus far. Additionally, the Bears have surrendered a 66.7 completion percentage and rank No. 17 in pass defense. Relying on Pittsburgh’s offense to do something is definitely a risk right now. Ben Roethlisberger has been sacked seven times and the team’s running game barely exists. That said, Sanders remains a sound playmaker after having caught 12 receptions on 22 targets for 135 yards, all of which lead the Steelers. Versus Chicago’s not yet proven coverage, expect Sanders to be relied on quite a bit in Week 3.   Follow John on Twitter @Rozum27 The post Fantasy Football 2013: Week 3 Sleepers appeared first on Midwest Sports Fans.
