Every year fantasy football owners are in the hunt for a sleeper who they can find late in the draft and have him become their breakout star and help push them to a championship. Everyone wants has that one guy at quarterback, running, receiver, tight end, etc. who they can spend a late round pick on only for him to become a great starter for their team. This year, I am hitching my wagon to Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron as the breakout star at the tight end position. While many fantasy owners will spend a second or third-round pick on Jimmy Graham, you can wait until after the eleventh round before you grab your starting tight end. There is certainly a risk gambling on a player like Cameron, who is only entering his third season and has totaled just 259 receiving yards and one touchdowns the past two seasons. But this is going to be the year where Cameron breaks out and emerges as a top ten tight end in fantasy football. Cameron jumps above the coverage for his first of ...

Browns streaker gets leveled by security

I find nothing more hilarious than streakers. The whole idea to me is hilarious from beginning to end. What exactly crosses somebody’s mind to take off all of their clothes and run across a sporting event? Arrest and capture is inevitable, and television stations have an unwritten rule to never film you doing it. However, this is where social media comes into play. Thankfully,...

Browns stats, Weeden 72% completion rate. Campbell 86% completion rate. Only an idiot like D.D. would start the lesser.

There is little doubt that Brandon Weeden is performing somewhat better in the offense deigned by Norv Turner. With that being said the team and head coach Rob Chudzinski is still refusing to name Brandon Weeden as the Browns starting quarterback. There are still some fans that don’t think Weeden is the guy. A look at the stats this preseason tells us that Jason Campbell is out...

NFL News: Mingo out 2-3 weeks

Per Mary Kay Cabot, Browns rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo has been released from the Cleveland Clinic and could miss about 2-3 weeks with a bruised lung. Mingo, the sixth overall pick in last April’s NFL draft, left Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions in the second quarter due to difficulty breathing. Mingo was set to be released Friday afternoon but spent Friday night...

Mingo hospitalized; Lewis out indefinitely

CLEVELAND An exciting night for the Cleveland Browns ended with disappointing news. After the Browns 24-6 preseason win over the Lions, head coach Rob Chudzinski said first-round pick Barkevious Mingo will remain hospitalized overnight with a bruised lung and that running back Dion Lewis has a fractured fibula. Lewis had been having an outstanding camp. Chudzinski said no decisions...

Browns backup RB Dion Lewis carted off with left ankle injury. Was having a great camp. — NFL: AroundTheLeague (@NFL_ATL) August 16, 2013 We certainly hope all is well with Lewis.  He’s had a nice preseason so far.     Need NFL Tickets...

Browns rookie Mingo hospitalized

Browns rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo has been hospitalized with a bruised lung. Mingo, the No. 6 overall pick in April's NFL draft from LSU, was injured in the first half of Cleveland's 24-6 victory over Detroit on Thursday. Browns RB Hardesty has knee surgery

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Browns running back Montario Hardesty underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and will likely miss at least the first two regular-season games. The team said Hardesty's operation "went as expected" on Thursday. Hardesty's football career has been slowed by knee problems. The former second-round draft pick has had the anterior cruciate ligament in both...

Browns vs Lions: What I’m Watching

The preseason continues tonight for the Cleveland Browns. Can they build on last week’s performance? These are the things I’ll be watching for… From the starters: 1) Cleveland’s offensive line handled the Rams. Especially in pass protection. Brandon Weeden had all kinds of time and took advantage of it to the tune of 10 for 13 passing for 112 yards and a touchdown. The Lions...

Browns' Mingo out of hospital after bruising lung

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Browns rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo was released from the hospital after a two-night stay because of a bruised lung. The unusual injury came on a hit some time in the first half of Thursday night's exhibition victory over the Detroit Lions. The Browns can't pinpoint exactly when the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder was hurt. Mingo had been in The Cleveland Clinic...

Browns 24, Lions 6: Five things we learned

CLEVELAND (AP) -- This was a win that hurt the Browns. Quarterback Brandon Weeden's second straight strong performance turned into only a footnote Thursday night in a 24-6 victory over the Lions. Weeden, who has done everything to win Cleveland's starting job and is only waiting for coach Rob Chudzinski to make it official, threw two touchdown passes in the first half and...

Streaker interrupts Browns-Lions game, gets lit up for his efforts (video)

An actual, real-life streaker — not the so-called “streakers” who run on to sports fields fully clothed — bared a lot of skin (perhaps too much) as he interrupted the Detroit Lions-Cleveland Browns preseason game during the third quarter on Thursday night. Reports out of Cleveland indicate that Lions running back Joique Bell tried to […]The post Streaker interrupts Browns...
