Cecil Shorts III, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars Player Profile Height/Weight: 6-0/202 Birthdate: 12/22/1987 School: Mount Union FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS After a disappointing rookie campaign, Shorts saw an expanded role during the 2012 season and surprised everyone by hauling in 55 passes for 974 yards and 7 touchdowns. He emerged as a very good deep threat and if it weren’t for a concussion, he likely would’ve reached 1000 yards in his sophomore campaign, even with Blaine Gabbert throwing him the ball. The main reason Shorts saw limited action in his rookie year was thanks to his inability to read and react to pro coverages. After a year of seasoning, he has gotten much better and should only improve from here on out while possessing solid speed down the field and plays bigger than his size indicates. This Jaguars team really has more weapons than one would realize, with Blackmon finishing right behind Shorts in receiving yardage and possessing a 500 yards per year tight end in Merced...

He was the man who drafted Tyson Alualu, a projected second round defensive tackle, rather than the “savior” of the franchise. Never was there a hometown guy that was so desperately wanted...

Jacksonville Jaguars: Biggest Draft Day Regret In Team History

There are many ways to regret. There are many reasons to be filled with regret. As Kurt Vonnegut says, "Of all the words of mice and men, the saddest are, "It might have been'". The expansion team of 1995 can be forgiven for its youthful exuberance. If only it got better. It didn't. In 1999, the Jaguars picked Florida State University defensive tackle, Larry...
