Steve Young, former San Francisco 49er quarterback and a fantasy great himself, recently commented on the reason behind the plights of many NFL teams. Plain and simply, Young stated that the main reason teams are toiling in obscurity is that they cannot answer the quarterback question. Get a guy under center that is capable of getting the job done, and you're half way there to that Lombardi trophy. It's much the same in fantasy football. Securing a consistent and solid quarterback is a big piece of the fantasy championship puzzle.

1. Tom Brady (New England Patriots) — Duh. Brady had the best season a quarterback has ever had in the NFL this year, breaking Peyton Manning's passing touchdown record with 50 while only throwing eight interceptions. He passed for 4,806 yards, the highest in his career by almost 700 yards, completed 68.9 percent of his passes and set a career high with a 117.2 quarterback rating. He was an absolute machine this year.
