Nearing the final stretch of the 2013 fantasy football season, it’s make or break time in Week 9. Those atop your league will be looking to cement a top spot in the rankings, which could also mean a bye week. Then there are those fighting for a playoff opportunity, which is where the waiver wire plays an even greater role. Here, we check out those potential adds for Week 9.   Jason Campbell: QB, Cleveland Browns Jason Campbell opened up his 2013 campaign (as a starter) against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Well, instead of succumbing to the pressure, Campbell did the exact opposite against pro football’s best defense. Campbell threw for 293 yards by going 22-of-36, he also tossed for two scores and didn’t turn the ball over. So, for anyone needing a backup quarterback or is in dire need of a starting quarterback, Campbell is worth a look. Plus he’s a decent start in two quarterback leagues should he remain at the helm for Cleveland.   Aaron Dobson: WR, New England Patriots Aaron Dobson is gradually coming around for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. And that was on display against the Jets as he caught four passes on five targets for 60 yards and a score. Moving forward, his production will be crucial as the Pats need to establish reliable targets for Brady as the postseason nears. As a result, that will create greater balance in New England and enhance its odds of a Super Bowl run. Regarding fantasy football, that will translate into more targets, yards and receptions for the rookie.   Washington Redskins Defense The Washington Redskins aren’t defensively sound, but they are really appealing for fantasy football. For one, Washington has snagged 10 interceptions and has only allowed nine passing scoring. Even better, the Redskins have logged 20 sacks and have scored five times. Factor in Ryan Kerrigan’s three forced fumbles (team total of six) and five fumble recoveries and this defense will rack up fantasy points. Obviously they also allow plenty of yards and points as well, but for the most part the Redskins will generate turnovers and get quarterback pressure to score solid numbers.   Follow John on Twitter @Rozum27 The post Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Key adds for Week 9 appeared first on Midwest Sports Fans.
