Start Em’ QB - Ben Roethlisberger PIT, Carson Palmer OAK, & Tony Romo DAL
Looking at Roethlisberger’s remaining schedule you have to pretty much love all his matchups. I would be shocked to not see him with at least two touchdowns this week. Carson Palmer against the Ravens? Yes sir! With McFadden out you should see Palmer throw it upwards to 40 times this week with an added bonus of the shaky play of the Ravens defense lately. Call it a gut play or consider the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles defense haven’t stopped anyone in a while, but I think Romo will take advantage.
Sit Em’ QB - Jay Cutler CHI, Sam Bradford STL, & Matt Schaub HOU
Jay Cutler struggles against defenses with strong pass rushes and the Houston Texans have the best pass rush in football. Not even the boost of Danny Amendola will turn Sam Bradford into a viable fantasy quarterback this week. Matt Schaub goes up against the Chicago Bears, who are not only one of the league’s best, but one of the best ever at forcing turnovers. It’s going to be hard for Schaub to not end up with one or two fumbles or picks.
Start Em’ RB - Doug Martin TB, Stevan Ridley NE, & Michael Turner ATL
After Doug Martin’s last two phenomenal weeks, there should be no concerns about a dropoff this week. He should once again produce 100 plus total yards and has a great chance of finding the end zone. Ridley is a no-brainer, I would even feel confident putting in Shane Veeran, his backup this week. The New Orleans rush defense can’t stop anyone right now so Michael Turner should have a big week.
Sit Em’ RB - Jamaal Charles KC, Steven Jackson STL, & Shonn Greene NYJ
With a limited passing game behind him Jamaal Charles’ matchups become harder and harder. It gets no easier this week against the Steelers. Steven Jackson is splitting carries and finds himself against one of the best rush defenses in the league. Shonn Greene has settled back into a mediocre slump. Put him on your bench this week against Seattle.
Start Em’ WR - Mike Wallace PIT, Wes Welker NE, & Stevie Johnson BUF
The Kansas City Chiefs will have no answer for Mike Wallace this week. He is just too quick for Kansas City’s defense to contain. Wes Welker is going to shred apart the Buffalo Bills. He should almost be guaranteed to get 100 receiving yards. On the other side the Bills will have to throw it a lot to keep up with the Patriots. This will lead to a lot of looks going Johnson’s way.
Sit Em’ WR - Jeremy Maclin PHI, Michael Crabtree SF, & Steve Smith CAR
Jeremy Maclin and Michael Vick’s days of importance have disappeared along with the Eagles offense. I wouldn’t trust Maclin moving forward. Michael Crabtree will have Cortland Finnegan draped all over him this week. He also will have a limited amount of chances as the 49ers will focus heavily on the run. Steve Smith finally found the end zone lastweek, that should not happen again this week. Champ Bailey should make that next to impossible.
Start Em’ TE - Rob Gronkowski NE & Scott Chandler BUF
Rob Gronkowski, along with every other person in the New England offense, is a must start this week. This week’s matchups has all of the makings of another low yardage performance with a couple touchdowns. The Bills should find their way to the red zone and look Chandler’s way.
Sit Em’ TE - Kyle Rudolph MIN & Owen Daniels HOU
Kyle Rudolph’s value was his ability to make key plays in the red zone, but now the Vikings have been content to just hand the ball off to Adrian Peterson. Rudolph has no value until this changes. Like many of the Chicago Bears and the Houston Texans it would be better for fantasy owners to look in different directions this week. Both defenses should make it tough for either offense to operate.
Start Em’ DEF - San Francisco 49ers & Pittsburgh Steelers
The San Francisco 49ers have a good chance to keep the Rams under 10 points and force a couple turnovers. Whichever defense faces the Kansas City Chiefs skyrockets to the number one fantasy defense option and this week it’s the streaking Steelers.
Sit Em’ DEF - Buffalo Bills & Carolina Panthers
The Buffalo Bills haven’t been able to stop anyone this year, facing one of the league’s most potent offenses won’t change that. The Carolina Panthers stopped RG3. They will not stop Peyton Manning.
Lock of the Week – Tom Brady 300 Pass Yards 2 TD
New England is coming off a bye and facing one of the league’s worst defenses in the Bills. The only way they hold Brady under 300 pass yards is if New England gets up early and is content to just pound the ball. Even then, I still see Brady getting close to 300 yards.
Intriguing Pick of the Week – Felix Jones DAL
Felix Jones is said to be fully healthy and with Demarco Murray still out, he will get the majority of the carries this week. The Eagles’ rush defense hasn’t been able to stop anyone since the bye, giving 140 plus rushing yards in back to back games. The Cowboys should see this and use Jones to exploit it.

AROUND THE WEB
Through the first 8 games of the season Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has only been sacked 17 times which is a rate of 2.125 a game. Should he stay on that same pace it would wind up being the lowest per game rate since the 2005 season, a season that saw him play in just 12 games.
The new offense has of course led to the drop in sacks as Roethlisberger is...
Ben Roethlisberger said before the season started that his wife was expecting and that the birth would take place at some point during the 2012 season. As the Steelers enter the second half of the 2012 season the situation that many had been avoiding talking about is coming closer. Roethlisberger told Dan Patrick on his radio show yesterday that he would let him know the baby’s...
PRIORITIES IN ORDER
Roethlisberger previously said he would skip a game to attend his first child's birth, a decision he recently stated is fully supported by the Steelers and his teammates.
Any NFL player or coach with any class at all is never going to call out his old team, no matter how bad things were when they left. Circumstances change from year to year and sometimes things just don’t work out; sometimes you leave on a good note and other times it’s a sour one. Jerome Bettis and Todd Haley are hardly the only two members of the Steelers to start with one team...
What was becoming evident throughout the first half of the season is now patently obvious. As much as running back Darren McFadden was touted as the player whose success was most important to the team, it's clear the Raiders will rise or fall with quarterback Carson Palmer. Now that McFadden and backup Mike Goodson both have high ankle sprains, with their status for Sunday...

Team MVP – Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger
Roethlisberger isn’t only leading the Steelers offense he is getting better by the week. So far on the season Roethlisberger has thrown for over 2,200 yards and 16 touchdowns with only 4 interceptions. Ben currently holds a 101.1 quarterback...
Oakland Raiders Terrelle Pryor is the future of this Raider franchise. That is clear at this point with the issues this season established to not be fixable in 2-3 seasons at least. Carson Palmer has been a bright spot for Raider Nation in a bleak season that is only going to get worse before it gets better, but it might be time to give Pryor the keys to the city now. As much as...
What a heartbreaking loss for the Raider Nation. The Oakland Raiders were able to score 22 points in the fourth quarter, including 15 unanswered, to be one field-goal away from tying the scoreboard on what would have been an incredible comeback. Unfortunately, the 35 points scored by the Buccaneers in the second half ended up being too much to overcome [...]

Ben Roethlisberger vs KC
The Chiefs are freakin’ terrible giving up 2 or more TDs in 7 out of 8 games this season. Todd Haley has already stated he may run up the score on his ex-squad and Big Ben should easily eclipse 250/2 this week.

So its more then halfway through the 2012 Fantasy Football Season, and for those in final playoff pushes this weeks add/drops could be crucial! There have been some stellar performances and a few injuries that may just help you add some roster depth. Here are your Week 10 Fantasy Football Pickups. Quarterbacks Carson Palmer, Raiders…
Pssst…I’m not that good this year Juan…
Philip Rivers @ TB
TB has been smoked out of the building by Eli, Brees, and Palmer, but have also shut down Romo, Cam, and Ponder. Rivers turns the ball over too much and will only have marginal numbers at best.
Michael Vick vs Dal
Vick has been a turnover machine this season and is taking too many sacks. Look for Ryan to dial...

Last week: 30 (-1)
Oakland/Tampa Bay was a crazy game for statistics. Everyone knows about Doug Martin’s 272 total yards and 4 total touchdowns, which was the 4th highest single game fantasy football total in history. However, we also had Carson Palmer throw for 414 yards and 4 touchdowns in a losing effort for just the 7th time in NFL history. Meanwhile, because of...
