Even though your draft is over and you are waiting for the season to begin; remember, the NFL never sleeps.   There are cuts, injuries and pre-season performance issues that are changing the scene before the season even begins. Here are some players to consider adding to your roster if you have the room to do it; these are the top “add’s” for Fantasy Football this weekIsaac Redman /RB, Pittsburgh Steelers:   The biggest “drop” of the week, Jonathan Dwyer, has helped Redman become the top “add” of the week.  Dwyer was an expensive RB to keep on the roster with similar talents going for less, including the signing of Felix Jones.  With the injury to Le’Veon Bell, Redman is looking like the starter in Pittsburgh for now.   He is worth a grab if you can get him.Julius Thomas/TE, Denver Broncos:    This is a simple explanation; Thomas is now listed as the starting Tight End on the depth chart for the Denver Broncos.  Peyton Manning can make any Tight End a superstar and Thomas beat out Jacob Tamme and Joel Dreessen for the starting job.   If this guy is a free agent in your league and the TE you have isn’t proven or is just average, pick Thomas up now, it is a gamble you want to take with Manning throwing the ball in Denver.Ronnie Hillman/RB, Denver Broncos:  The Broncos have released more big roster news naming Ronnie Hillman the starting running back.  Originally it appeared that Hillman and Montee Ball would be sharing duties in the backfield, but despite 3 fumbles in the pre-season, Hillman is the starter.  Any starting running back must be picked up if you have the room and if you don’t have the room, make the room for Hillman as he is the starter in Denver.Zach Sudfeld/TE, New England Patriots:   Although Gronkowski is going to play sooner rather than later, Sudfeld is expected to fill the void that Aaron Hernandez left behind as he sits behind bars awaiting his murder trial.  Sudfeld is a big TE like Gronkowski but is just as injury prone having 6 surgeries during his college career at Nevada.  BUT- Sudfeld is fast, a great blocker and he only dropped one ball in his college career.  Sudfeld will surely be an immediate impact for Tom Brady and the Patriots, which makes him a big impact for any fantasy owner.  You have to get Sudfeld if he is available, bottom line; he is a perfect fit for the Patriots and their 2 tight end sets.  Kenbrell Thompkins/WR, New England Patriots:   Thompkins is starting to emerge as Brady’s favorite target due to preseason performance.  Quite frankly, Thompkins is the only WR that Tom Brady has been able to count on, hauling in a lot of catches and racking up the yards.  He is worth taking a flyer on at this point and could be a huge sleeper.  This is a chance pick up that could pay off.
