The Houston Texans are looking to start 3-0 for the first time in franchise history.

Peyton Manning is 16-2 in his career against the Texans but that was when the Colts were the powerhouse of the AFC South, something that may belong to the Texans now.

This time Manning takes on Foster and the Houston Texans in a Broncos uniform.

Houston Texans (2-0): Matt Schaub is fresh off a contract extension and when healthy he can be a solid quarterback.

He is similar to Alex Smith at this point and is doing what the Texans ask of him and doing it well.

Arian Foster has been good so far this season with 222 total yards and three touchdowns. Foster should have another good week against Denver and is as always, a must-start.

Ben Tate was involved heavily last week and depending on the game flow this Sunday could once again be heavily involved but is still hard to start.

Andre Johnson blew up Week 1 and fell off in Week 2. In games where the Texans rely on the run Johnson could have some disappointing games. That is too hard to forecast and he is a solid start week in and week out. Kevin Walter is a bad start most, if not all, weeks.

Owen Daniels leads the team in targets (17) up to this point and is slowly finding his way back into fantasy relevance.

Good starts: Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels 

Middle of the road: Ben Tate

Bad starts: Kevin Walter

 

Denver Broncos (1-1): Peyton Manning is coming off one of his worst first quarter performances in his career. He will look to get out to a fast start this week against a very stingy defense. A very tough match-up this week Manning could be left on your bench in favor of an RGIII or Matt Cassel.

Willis McGahee had a great Monday night game rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns. Don't expect that against a Texans defense that only allowed two 100-yard rushers last season.

Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker finished tied for targets (7) in Week 2. If you have Thomas you play him, but with Decker you may want to think about benching him this week if you can afford it.

Jacob Tamme is a lousy tight end option as there are plenty out there with more value.

Good starts: Demaryius Thomas

Middle of the road: Peyton Manning, Eric Decker, Willis McGahee

Bad starts: Jacob Tamme
