Week 12 is going to be a fun week in the NFL. 3 games are going to take place on Thanksgiving, and the rest fall into the normal Sunday and Monday time slots.Last week, players like Wes Welker and Greg Jennings disappointed fantasy owners, while players like Jordy Nelson and Rob Gronkowski took the Lime-Light. Many of the players this week have a chance to improve upon bad performances. Players from Philly and Detroit, mainly receivers, could put up outstanding numbers as they go against some of the worst pass defenses in the league. Check back after the break for my Love/Hate for week 12. … [visit site to read more]Fantasy Watch: Week 12 - Cat Crave - Cat Crave - A Carolina Panthers Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

VIDEO: “Moves Like Welker” is a Parody Song So Bad That it’s Good

Written by Jeff Mans of the site Fantasy Alarm, and edited by actor/comedian Jonesy, comes the tribute song that praises the fantasy exploits of a certain plucky, gritty, Caucasian wide receiver for the New England Patriots.  Moves Like Welker, an ode to fantasy football giant Wes Welker is set to the Maroon 5 tune Moves Like Jagger, but unlike the Maroon 5 version, Moves Like Welker...

Detroit Coaches Having Aneurysms While Greg Jennings Goes Tebowing

Via Weekend Screencapper ParadigmShift35: Jim Schwartz of the Lions is having the worst Thanksgiving ever and most likely an aneurism with how pissed off he got at his team. Even his assistant coaches look like they may be taken to the nearest Detroit hospital. To add to all of this frustration, Greg Jennings is in Detroit’s End Zone “Tebowing”. If Detroit wasn’t a depressing...

Welker receives praise

Wes Welker didn’t have any flashy catches or touchdowns in the Patriots’ 34-3 victory over the Chiefs Monday night.

First-and-10 at Lions 21

Packers are rolling now. Greg Jennings just caught another pass. But a false start penalty pushed Green Bay back to the 26. No big deal for Jennings, who just caught a 19-yard pass for a first down.

Today’s Tebow Quota Post: “Run With Me Jesus” and “Tebowing” Videos

It did not receive much publicity at the time, but Congress recently slipped through a law requiring anyone who maintains a sports blog to post at least one Tim Tebow-related item every single day. It’s true. Look it up. Luckily, I recently stumbled upon two relatively entertaining videos that will fill today’s Tebow quota. The first comes via yesterday’s Hot Clicks (which...

Target Practice, Week 11: The Gronkowski surge continues. Woe unto those who oppose him

That would be New England tight end Rob Gronkowski pictured above, pinwheeling into the end zone, scoring for the second time in Monday night's 34-3 win. Gronkowski finished with four catches, 96 yards and 21.6 standard points, dealing painful fantasy losses to a few of us. We shall speak no more of him ... well, except to note that he has a decent chance to break the single...

Linebackers Dane Fletcher (thumb), Brandon Spikes (knee) and Jeff Tarpinian (illness) did not participate in practice. Safeties Patrick Chung (foot) and James Ihedigbo (shoulder); cornerback...

Final from Gillette Stadium: Patriots 34, Chiefs 3

It started ugly for the Patriots and ended ugly for the Chiefs. In the end, it was a second consecutive win for the 7-3 Patriots. The final? Patriots 34, Chiefs 3 QB Tom Brady got himself together to go 15 of 27 for 234yards, while TE Rob Gronkowski had two scores and 96 yards. WR Wes Welker kept his consecutive catch streak going with one reception, while CB Kyle Arrington had two...

Lions-Packers breakdown at half

OK, back to the game. Packers get the ball to start the second half and have a 7-0 lead. Aaron Rodgers is 9-of-15 for 65 yards. He threw a 3-yard TD pass to Kalamazoo native Greg Jennings for the score. Matthew Stafford is 15-of-24 for 128 yards and an interception. Stafford's turnover

Stafford picked off at the Green Bay 33

Second turnover for Matthew Stafford today. Pass was picked off by linebacker Robert Francois and returned two yards to the 35. Stafford had an interception in the second quarter that helped set up the Packers' first score: a 3-yard Aaron Rodgers TD pass to Greg Jennings. Remember, though,

Fantasy Land: Week 11 Remembered

Matthew Stafford hadn't been right for a couple of weeks. He had been OK, but earlier this year, Stafford was better than OK and has consistenly been one of the top quarterbacks in fantasy play. On Sunday against Cam Newton and the porous Carolina Panthers' pass defense, Stafford was in line for a big day. And for a while, it looked as if he'd get stood up by the Panthers...

Scoring With Fewer Options – Tom Brady is Making the Most Out of the Offense

Tom Brady has been here before, limited options that must produce. Monday night showcased his skill for raising his offense’s level even when they don’t have the talent. Wes Welker and Deion Branch were non factors and Welker has been on lockdown since his hot start of the season. Sadly, Branch looks slow and his quickness, which was his trademark skill, is quickly dissipating...
