Players for the Philadelphia Eagles largely stayed out of trouble this offseason, save for the arrest of RB Dion Lewis of felony charges of pulling a fire alarm at a hotel in Albany, New York.
Lewis can now put that incident behind him. According to Les Bowen of the Daily News, the case against Lewis was dismissed in court on Monday.
Lewis and his brother, Lamar, were arrested after trying to gain entry into the locked lobby of their hotel after a night out. Both had forgotten to bring their hotel keys along with them. The Lewis’ maintained that video would show that they did not pull the alarm. Evidently the district attorney in the case agreed. Per NFL.com, the DA concluded that “no evidence a fire alarm was ever pulled.”
