Joe Flacco could get a big payday if Ravens Franchise Tag him

There was a time when the Baltimore Ravens did not seem certain that Joe Flacco would be the quarterback of their future.  Of course, they never said this publicly, but the signs were there.  Then, suddenly, Flacco led them to the Super Bowl.  Now, the Ravens may consider placing the Franchise Tag on the young quarterback.  If they do, Flacco will see a nice payday. According...

Do the Ravens have the best QB in the Super Bowl?

Joe Flacco's ability to be an elite QB has been questioned all season.  I've been one that has doubted his ability all regular season and throughout the playoffs.  Has anyone, including me, changed our opinions heading into the Super Bowl? Joe Flacco started the season by stating he was not only an elite QB, but the best QB in the league.  I know some people...

Joe Flacco says he is Going to ‘stick it’ to Ravens Owner with new Contract

Joe Flacco finished this postseason with 11 Touchdowns, 0 interceptions, a Super Bowl ring, and a Super Bowl MVP award. Sounds elite to me. So now that the season is over, attention turns to Flacco and the Ravens as they now have to attempt to get a deal done because of Flacco’s looming free [...]

Joe Flacco Drops F-Bomb During Super Bowl Postgame

YouTube.com Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco had a hell of a game in Super Bowl 47, especially the first half, when he threw three touchdown passes and made his team seem unbeatable. For his work — and because the Ravens’ defense didn’t fully crap the bed and let the 49ers come back and win the game — Flacco was named Super Bowl MVP. After the game, Flacco milled around...

Joe Flacco’s agent believes he should be the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback

By leading the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl championship, Joe Flacco not only did the best possible thing he could do for the organization, but also for his own contract situation. Flacco will become a free agent this offseason, and there is no better leverage in contract negotiations than the Vince Lombardi trophy. The 28-year-old is in for a massive payday, but how big are...

Flacco seizes moment on grand stage

Momentum is not actually a determining factor in sports. Nor is manifest destiny, at least not in the way Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis describes it with God wanting Baltimore to win and then making that outcome happen, by, I don't know, planting atrocious, goal-line pass plays in 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman's brain for that final decisive series. Nice work, God...
