This is Nick Foles third start tonight against in Dallas.
There is no secret formula and with a depleted offensive line, even Joe Montana could not win.
But before the Eagles lose the rest of their games, it is time for Foles to step up.
All the guys on WIP and callers say that Foles is not the answer and is merely a caretaker.
It might be true, but now, if any, is a time to make a stand.
Ok, DeSean Jackson is out for the season.
Riley Cooper? He makes a good catch about once a month.
That leaves Jeremy Maclin and Brent Celek.
It is possible.
If Bryce Brown stays in to block, Maclin or Celek could get open for a medium to long gain.
Or Foles, if he has any, could work some magic.
But I have to be realistic.
Foles could be entertaining tonight, but he isn’t Montana. He could be Bobby Hoying. Probably somewhere in between.

Nick Foles had a solid game Sunday night
Only Jim Washburn got fired, so it’s more like rats being thrown off a sinking ship. Of course, according to all the reports I’m reading, it was long overdue. Seems like Washburn was a complete asshole. Good riddance, but it’s probably two years too late (yes, for those who are bad at math...
