Rumors flew during the draft that the Jaguars were trying to trade defensive tackle John Henderson. He soon was cut, which meant that trade talks went nowhere.
Since then, Henderson reportedly visited the Giants, reportedly was set to visit the Chiefs, and reportedly didn’t visit the Chiefs.
The latest development? The Eagles reportedly aren’t interested, according to CSNPhilly.com.
Given that he entered the league the same year as Albert Haynesworth and has played in all but four games over eight seasons, Henderson surely will get another shot.
Our guess is that he wants too much money, and that in time his expectations will decrease.
Either he wants too much money or he’s out of shape/ wasn’t impressive in the workout/ or there is an injury problem that’s not being reported.
