Former Dallas Cowboys backup quarterback Jon Kitna announced his retirement from the NFL after a 16-year season and has now started a new career as a high school algebra teacher and football coach. Kitna has found employment at Lincoln High School in his hometown of Tacoma, Washington. Kitna went on the injured reserve list on December 15th this season with a back injury and finally realized that his playing days were over. “I told Jason Garrett when I hurt my back, ‘I’m someone you can longer count onhealth wise.
