The Patriots were missing a few key guys earlier in practice, which we wrote about here. Safety Patrick Chung and LB Brandon Spikes were among the missing, and both absences could loom large. After all, the LB and safety positions are two of the Patriots thinnest. Ho-hum.
Oh, and Wes Welker has a new rib injury. What the heck was wrong with everyone?
