Chuck was a great friend. He was so innocent about life and truly was the gentle giant that everyone knew. You will be truly missed at the the tail gate parties. I am looking at both of your helmets right now in my office and all I can think about is all the great times we had together. God blees your family. Sosman.

The Ravens are mourning the loss of one of their former players. Chuck Evans, a fullback who played on the Super Bowl championship team, died of heart failure on Sunday. Evans played eight years in the NFL, his first six seasons with the Vikings under then-offensive coordinator Brian Billick. He followed Billick to Baltimore where he saw limited action in his final two seasons before retiring after the Super Bowl victory. Evans was 41.
