Frank Gore had quite a night against the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, leading the 49ers with 182 total yards from scrimmage. The veteran tailback left the game late in the fourth quarter with bruised ribs. According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, Gore received x-rays after the game to see if he sustained a broken bone. Miaocco reports that the x-rays came back negative, and Gore has been diagnosed with just a bruise. 49er and fantasy owners can breath a sigh of relief as it was unclear at the end of contest why Gore was not in the game. Kendall Hunter receive the final clock-killing carries for the Niners as Gore watched from the sidelines.

The Seahawks are Frank Gore’s *****

After Frank Gore rushed all over the Seattle Seahawks defense last night, I thought to myself that is seems like Gore always owns the Seahawks defense. Seahawks: Stopping Gore critical to slowing 49ers

One of the longest tenured players on the Seattle Seahawks roster, outside linebacker Leroy Hill has had plenty of run-ins with San Francisco running back Frank Gore, dating back to the time Hill played at Clemson and Gore at the University of Miami. "I've got so much respect for him," Hill said about Gore, a three-time Pro Bowler. "He's one of I think the...

Harbaugh happy with 49ers' offensive approach

The San Francisco 49ers went back to what they do best: a steady diet of Frank Gore mixed with a dominant defense and timely special teams play. The result was a 13-6 victory over the Seattle Seahawks that got San Francisco back on track following a demoralizing loss to the New York Giants. It was a vastly different approach than the one San Francisco used four days earlier when...
