Running back Fred Jackson has inked a two-year extension with the Buffalo Bills, according to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Jackson turned 32 in February, but still has plenty left in the tank after averaging 5.5 yards per carry in 2011 before going down with a fractured fibula in Week 11. And he has just 817 carries of wear and tear on his body as the late-bloomer didnt become a full-time starter until 2009. C.J. Spiller has a bright future in Buffalo, but his fantasy stock shall remain limited for the short-term while fighting for touches with veteran Jackson.
