Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson showed up for the start of offseason workouts on Monday, and indicated that he’s confident he’ll get the contract extension he’s looking for.
“It’s just not the time,” said Jackson when asked if there was progress on a contract extension. ”This week they have the draft coming up. That’s what they’re focusing on. I’ll just continue to be patient and see what happens. It’s like I’ve said all along, I think something will get done. Buddy said that they want to get something done, so I’ll just continue to put faith in that.”
Jackson is clearly one of the most dynamic weapons on the Bills offense and they know they need to get him locked up to a long-term deal.
