No, the lockout is still going, but I want to make sure everyone is ready for when it starts. Jeff Lurie, Joe Banner, Howie Roseman, and Andy Reid have all said that the Eagles have a plan in place and will aggressively attack free agency. I will be making up a handy chart on who (I think) the Eagles will go after. Let's start today with the Running Backs. Running back is a position the Eagles need a solid backup for LeSean McCoy. They drafted Dion Lewis but he is pretty much a McCoy clone. They need a power back who can command third downs for the Birds so McCoy can take a breather. I expect McCoy to take more responsibility for short yardage this year but it's always nice to have a pounder who can wear defenses down, a la Jerome Bettis and Willie Parker during the Steelers Super Bowl run. 1.
