The Giants have brought in a handful of free agents for visits who would be low-cost supplements to their roster. The latest: Louis Murphy, the former Raiders and Panthers receiver, according to an ESPN report.
Murphy spent the first three years of his NFL career in Oakland, before being traded to Carolina last summer. A former fourth-round pick out of Florida, Murphy's most productive season was in 2010 for the Raiders, when he recorded 41 catches for 609 yards and two touchdowns. Murphy played 16 games for the Panthers last season, starting five.
