Sportsday:
One week, Patrick Crayton loses his job as the Dallas Cowboys' punt returner. The next week, he is named NFL special-teams player of the week for his work as a punt returner.
Crayton got a second chance on Sunday when replacement Allen Rossum went out because of a hamstring injury and made the most of it. Crayton's three punt returns included a 73-yard touchdown dash. It was the longest punt return by a Cowboy in this century and earned him the special-teams award, given out by the league today.
