George R.R. Martin is a best-selling author responsible for one of HBO's all-time hit shows, "Game of Thrones." He also happens to be a New York Jets fan, thus capable of weighing in on the recent Darrelle Revis trade. Spoiler alert: He hates it. On his LiveJournal.com blog -- and in an entry titled "Jets Crash Again" -- Martin slammed the Jets for dealing Revis, "the best cornerback in the NFL and far and away the best player on the team." "Only the Jets," Martin wrote. "They have a pretty good defense and a godawful offense, so what's their big offseason move? "Hey, let's get rid of our best player, bring the D down to the same level as the O." Martin, 64, seemingly would've been happier if New York received more compensation for Revis, similar to the famed Herschel Walker trade.
