Blitzburgh Blog:
William Gay has been one of my favorite Steelers since he arrived in Pittsburgh. He plays physical for his size, is great on special teams and let's face it: he's got swag. This season, Gay's turned into a solid cornerback too, even taking away Bryant McFadden's starting job. We decided to honor his big season by putting together some t-shirts to honor his shutdown play. Everybody knows about Revis Island...but Steeler Nation needs to let em know about Gay Island. Check them out!

Steelers Starting Outside Linebacker: Timmons or Worilds?
The Steeles played their best defensive game of the year versus the Titans last week. Now the question is do they make changes and put guys where they belong or do they stick with what worked. I can not harp on how much I want Ziggy Hood in the lineup anymore. We all saw the difference in how everyone, especially LaMarr Woodley played. The big question this week is if healthy...
Troy Polamalu, Head & Shoulders team up for Legendaryous Experience
Casual football fans may not know Pittsburgh Steelers Safety Troy Polamalu for his stellar on-field play. But, its highly likely that they recognize Polamalu for his iconic hair. Troy has helped to magnify the iconic status of his hair by becoming an endorser of Head & Shoulders shampoo.
The pairing, which is now entering its third year, is beginning to take on a life of its...

The Terrible Podcast – Vito Stellino Interview Episode
Season 2, Episode 29 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I open with a look at the injury report as delivered by Mike Tomlin at his Tuesday press conference. This week's presser lacked some of the surprise of weeks past, which is a good thing if you are a Steelers fan. The only real injury to come out of Sunday's contest was the Marcus Gilbert re-injuring his...

On the Steelers: WR Wallace drawing a lot of extra attention
Wes Welker has set a blistering pace for NFL receivers with 740 yards after five games, one that has him far in front of the pack this season and on the way to obliterating Jerry Rice's single-season record. No one, it seems, can catch him on the field or on the stats sheet. Or can they? "Yeah," the Steelers' Mike Wallace answered. "Me!"

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Pittsburgh Steelers Odds
1-4TEAM RECORD3-2
Call it a surprising trend, but the Jacksonville Jaguars have been a terrific bet when they visit Pittsburgh over the years.
The Jags are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their past 6 trips to face the Steelers. And they get 14 points from oddsmakers who seem to believe the Steelers...
Tomlin gets testy with Jacksonville media
The Steelers host the Jaguars on Sunday, and as is customary Steelers coach Mike Tomlin made himself available for a conference call with the opposing city’s media. According to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union, Tomlin got irritated with questions regarding a 2007 playoff game between the two teams. The Jaguars won the game, making…
