The Giant Exiles:
New York Giants
Millikin Big Blue
Yes, it comes with a caveat that the last two opponents that Big Blue has faced are the Vikings (who started a newly acquired Josh Freeman a week and a half after signing him) and the Eagles (who sacrificed Mike Vick's hamstring to the football gods and played Matt Barkley as penance) but the Giants defense has looked incredibly good over the past couple of weeks.
So good, that they have not allowed a touchdown in ten straight quarters. As the New York Post notes, the biggest changes have not really been in scheme so much as it has been at personnel. Out are Spencer Paysinger and Ryan Mundy and in are Jon Beason and Will Hill.
The results have been dramatic.
Hill did miss the first four games of the season due to violating the league's substance abuse policy, but his return has brought a mean-streak to a secondary that was lacking one during their first couple of weeks. Beason, who has already fallen in love with the organization and city, is the type of sm...

Right now, there is not team in a better situation than the New York Giants. Two weeks ago they were the worst team in the NFL and were winless. Right now they are on a two game winning streak and their division continues to plummet. The Washington Redskins might have just lost Rg3 to a […]
New York Giants running back Andre Brown expects to return to game action in Week 10 against the Oakland Raiders. “That hasn’t changed,” Brown said Monday. “I’m still looking forward to coming back against the Raiders.” Brown has been on the Giants short-term injured reserve list since the final week of the preseason, when he fractured his left leg against the New England...

Getting Brown back will be a nice lift for the Giants. Peyton Hillis and Brandon Jacobs...
New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs may have made the trip to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles, but he will not see the playing field. Jacobs has been listed as inactive for this afternoon’s game. Jacobs missed last Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings and has been dealing with a hamstring injury.
Most fantasy owners that had added Jacobs were already aware of the...
The Giants are going to keep “all of our options open” with the trade deadline fast approaching, according to GM Jerry Reese. And that includes the unlikely possibility of trading Hakeem Nicks.
With the 4 p.m. deadline just hours away, Reese declined to rule out the possibility that he would deal his top receiver, which several NFL sources believed he might do when the Giants...

New York wideout Victor Cruz has returned to Sunday's game against Philadelphia.Fantasy Spin:He left earlier with a neck injury but it wasn't serious. The Giants hold a 15-0 advantage in the fourth quarter and will probably be looking to run out the clock. Cruz has five grabs for 64 yards.
For the 2nd consecutive week, the New York Giants won a football game by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 15-7. Also, for the 2nd consecutive week, the Giants played against a team without their #1 Quarterback for the entire game. Last week, the Giants manhandled the Vikings mostly because Josh Freeman was forced into the starting role too soon. This week, an unhealthy Michael Vick...
This is by the same fan that made the Philadelphia sports coaches graveyard.
The Giants may have won yesterday, but at 2-6, their season is looking very grim. They’ll have to go 6-2 down the stretch to get to .500, while playing teams like the Packers, Lions, and Seahawks.
This dude is shredded, but it obviously didn’t help him with his coordination. Why the hell he didn’t jump on the ball or kick the ball out of the endzone is beyond me. See the hilarity in GIF form below:

It seems most fantasy owners were able to escape week eight without any major injuries. Week nine includes six teams on a bye: Arizona, Denver, Detroit, Jacksonville, New York Giants, and San Francisco.

Josh Freeman didn’t have the best debut with the Vikings to put it nicely. He didn’t pass well and got a concussion for his troubles. On the flip side he only had two weeks to learn the offense. Freeman’s confidence is still high though:
“I feel like I can go out and compete and give our team a chance to win,” Freeman said. “This week, any week, I just want to prepare...

Josh Freeman said he is clear of concussion symptoms and ready to go, although he hadn’t been told as of Monday if he would start Sunday. He reflected on his first start for the Vikings and his outlook going forward.
Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen said there’s “zero animosity” towards the team for engaging in trade talks involving him. Allen, a five-time Pro Bowler, is making $14.28 million this season and will be a free agent after the year. He said he spoke with Vikings general manager Rick Spielman, assistant GM Rob Brzezinski and coach Leslie Frazier after the trade...
