NFL Injury Report:
The New York Giants lost linebacker Chase Blackburn and
tight end Bear Pascoe to injury during yesterday’s victory over the Dallas
Cowboys, reports Randy Jennings of ESPNNewYork.com.
Blackburn injured his hamstring and limped off the field
during the Cowboys’ second touchdown drive of the second half. He recorded five
tackles during the game, giving him 47 on the season. He also has two sacks,
two forced fumbles and one interception so far this year.
Pascoe suffered an ankle injury during the first half of the
game. He was taken for X-rays that came back negative prior to halftime. His
injury was later diagnosed as a sprained ankle.
Pascoe, who backs up starting tight end Martellus Bennett,
has three catches for 19 yards and one touchdown this season.

The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys played one for the ages down in Arlington today. After storming to a 23-0 lead midway through the second quarter off four Dallas turnovers, the Giants were unable to generate any offense as the Cowboys fought back to take a 24-23 lead into the fourth quarter. Although the Giants looked lifeless on both sides of the ball at times today, the defense...
The New York Giants already knew they were going to be without linebacker Jacquian Williams, but were hoping that safety Kenny Phillips and defensive tackle Rocky Bernard would be able to return on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case as the two -originally listed as doubtful- did not travel with the team to Arlington, and have been downgraded...
New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz told Mike Francecsa on 660 WFAN in New York that everything is “moving in the right direction” towards him getting a new contract.
“From what I hear, they’ve just agreed on the structure right now,” Cruz said. “And that’s all I’m at liberty to say.”
Cruz continues to hope something will be finalized soon.
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was active for Sunday's game at Dallas, the second week in a row he has played despite barely practicing because of a lingering foot injury.
The Giants were without linebacker Jacquian Williams (knee), safety Kenny Phillips (knee) and defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (quadriceps).
Dallas played its first game without linebacker and...
Osi Umenyiora and the New York Giants were feeling awful, believing they had just suffered a monumental collapse.
Upon further review, a replay overturned a Dallas Cowboys touchdown with 10 seconds left and the Giants held on for a 29-24 victory Sunday after blowing a 23-point lead, taking a firm hold on the NFC East lead.
''After going up 23-0 and having them come back...
As the old saying goes, “As Lawerence Tynes goes so do the New York Giants”…and this week was no different. The Giants were able to hold off a fierce attack as Tony Romo was throwing balls right at defenders with no mercy.
Tynes has had a fabulous season and the Giants are off to a good start. He is 24-26 on the season from field goal range with his only two misses being...
Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reported via Twitter on Tuesday that the NFL says that were was no damage to MetLife Stadium from Hurricane Sandy and that they are preparing to have the Sunday game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants played there as scheduled. Vacchiano added that the NFL will stay in close touch with public authorities just in case...
Video: Jerry Jones gets fired up
Jerry Jones is a helluva lot better salesman than he is a GM, that’s for sure.
Back when the Dallas Cowboys opened training camp in Oxnard, Calif., in July, Jones boasted to the fans “I want you to come to [Cowboys Stadium] and watch us beat the New York Giants’ ass, OK?”
The Cowboys stunned NFL fans by beating the Giants on the road to...
In the days leading up to the week 8 contests I posted an article deriding a fantasy analyst who suggested that a fantasy GM simply could not start Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks at the same time because they both played for the Giants. As it turns out, both players turned in duds but the moral is that the fact that one fantasy owner starts them both, shouldn't matter.
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Eli Manning stood on the New York Giants' sideline in disbelief when it looked as if the Dallas Cowboys had scored a go-ahead touchdown with 10 seconds left.
