New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs and Jets coach Rex Ryan definitely didn't exchange Christmas cards following Saturday's game.

After the Giants posted a 29-14 win, Jacobs claimed that Ryan "told me to shut the (expletive) up and wait until we win the Super Bowl. I said I would punch him in his face ... I told him, 'Out of all of these Giants football players on the team, you're talking to the wrong one.'"

Ryan noted the altercation, but had a different view.

"We had a private conversation," Ryan said. "That's all I'll leave it as. Whatever. He doesn't like me. I respect him, but I could care less about him."

Throughout the week, the Jets and Giants traded verbal shots - with Ryan issuing the first salvo in regard to his team not being viewed as the city's little brother.
