Hey everyone, how’s it going? Caeden here, with a bit of a preview for the up-coming Jets-Giants game. This is a key game for both teams, with the Jets at 8-6 and the Giants at 7-7, each team has play-off hopes riding on this game.

The Giants are actually a pretty good match up for our team, at least defensively. They don’t have an effective tight-end, and they’re centered around Eli Manning’s passing ability. After some absolutely idiotic statements challenging Darrelle Revis, I’m not expecting Victor Cruz, Mario Manningham, and Hakeem Nicks to not have a very good day. Well, of course Manningham won’t, since he’s not even playing. Sucks for him.

I’m expecting Revis to hang around on Nicks, since Nicks is Eli’s security blanket, and Revis is best when he’s making the quarterback uncomfortable. If Manningham was playing, Cromarti would probably be on him, since Manningham is their speediest receiver. I’m not sure who their fourth receiver is, so i can’t say who Cromarti will be on this game.  Cruz is their slot guy, so I expect Wilson to be covering him. “OH NO”, you may be saying. “Wilson is a second year cornerback who’s not that good! What’re they doing putting him on the Giants’ flashiest receiver!?” Well, Good question. Wilson is most comfortable playing the slot. He’s not an outside-corner kinda guy. This should be a fun match-up to watch, seeing as it’ll be Wilson’s hardest assignment all year. (Revis played on Welker, so Wilson was spared)

Justin Tuck should be lining up across from Wayne Hunter, which actually isn’t that bad, considering Tuck is battling an injury. Osi Umenyiora is ruled out. The guy we REALLY have to be worried about, is Jason Pierre paul. This dude is a freakish athlete, who’s racked up 13.5 sacks this season. Expect him to line up across from Fergerson. That’ll be a fun match-up to watch.

Merry Christmas, Happy holidays.

Until next time,

Blue Print: Giants's to beat the Jets

Face it, Jets fans. If this comes down to a battle of quarterbacks, Eli Manning is going to outduel Mark Sanchez. He has had a remarkable season, carrying the Giants to dramatic victories with crunch-time heroics while masking the team’s weaknesses.

Giants report card

OFFENSE (C) Eli Manning completes only 9 of his 27 passes? What the heck is going on? Not much doing through the air other than brilliant 99-yard TD for Victor Cruz (3-164). Hakeem Nicks (1-20) was little factor. Line could not get running game going at all until late with...

Manningham among key Giants inactives (AP)

New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham is inactive for the team's game because of a knee injury that kept him out of practice this week. Redskins secondary aims to continue interception upswing

Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett and his defensive backs have said all season that interceptions come in bunches and if they continued to do their jobs effectively, eventually they would experience a breakthrough.
