Pro Football Zone:
New York Giants second-year wide receiver Rueben Randle has been so impressive during camp that offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride can’t help but rave about him.
Gilbride told reporters on Monday that Randle is “light years from where he was last year. Not that there wasn’t some physical ability that I think was easily discerned by everybody, but the consistency of performance, reacting the right way on all the different looks that you get, in the professional ranks. That wasn’t at the level that you needed (last year). But in terms of his work ethic, his leadership has been phenomenal, and he’s always had great hands. He’s always been a smooth route runner, he’s always going up and gotten any throw that was close. I think he shows good body control and that kind of stuff. Just in terms of making the right decisions off the coverages, he’s not being fooled. The way he picked up that blitz (on Saturday night). That was a tremendously well-disguised blitz. Usually the quarterback do...

New York Giants wideout Victor Cruz missed almost everything the team did this off season because he didn't have a contract and, according to head coach Tom Coughlin, came to camp a little "rusty."
Now Cruz has a $43 million contract but might still have a little lingering rust in his joints — at least when it comes to his post-touchdown dancing.
New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin acknowledged last week that third-round draft pick Damontre Moore had gotten the coaching staff's attention with an outstanding start to training camp.
The rest of the country saw what the Giants have been raving about when the rookie pass rusher known as "DaMonster" virtually was unblockable in Saturday's 18-13 victory over the...
We all know that the Giants’ RBs are in a battle to see who will be the ‘starter’ or at least get the majority of the carries. Wilson is the dynamic talent who just needs to be on the field. Brown is just a guy. A hard working guy who excelled at the goaline last season, but nonetheless, he’s just a guy. Tom Coughlin was not exactly pleased from what he saw from Wilson...
Going streaking: New York Giants Expectations for the New York Giants were high coming into 2012, as one would expect from the defending Super Bowl champions. Giants safety Antrel Rolle was carted off the practice field Monday after suffering a right foot injury according to several reporters on the scene.
For now there are no details on the severity of the injury.
Rolle originally drafted by the Cardinals as a cornerback came to the Giants in 2010 where he's been a starting safety the last three seasons. He's never missed a...
Now, don't get me wrong - this is straight up a commercial for DirecTV. Commercials suck. Except when they're entertaining. A well done commercial can be more fun to watch than the show you turned your tv on for. And when it comes to athletes, I love me the ones who don't take themselves seriously, the ones who can make fun of themselves and goof around. Back in December...
The New York Giants are hoping injured safety Antrel Rolle will be ready in time for the start of the regular season. Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell shared his reaction to the injury with reporters on Tuesday.
It’s been one day since strong safety Antrel Rolle suffered an ankle sprain in practice and the New York Giants are now looking for someone to step into his role in the secondary. Since joining the Giants in 2010, Rolle has been an unsung hero. Now sidelined due to injury Big Blue could turn to a former Pittsburgh Steeler to fill the void.
With injuries mounting during New York Giants training camp, backup cornerback Aaron Ross is will to do 'whatever the coaches need' in order to get Big Blue back on track.
There will be no more “non-standard customized facemasks in the NFL.” But Justin Tuck will still have his signature look.
The NFL began reminding teams in June that all visible game-day items worn by players – including facemasks – had to conform to league rules and those rules include limits on facemasks mandating a maximum of four horizontal bars and three vertical bars...
