TEAMS: Carolina Panthers, New York Giants
Manning and Newton should put up big numbers tonight.
New York Giants (1-1) @ Carolina Panthers (1-1)
Last week, Eli Manning and the Giants were down 27-13 in the third quarter. What did Manning do? Nothing much, just led his team on five scoring drives including two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. He finished with 510 yards, 3 TDs, and 3 INTs. Not too shabby. Cam Newton might not have had the big yardage day that Manning had, but he was extremely efficient. In 20 pass attempts he gained 253 yards and 1 TD. Not too mention the 71 yards and 1 TD he gained on the ground. These two will be the stars of the game but there are some other key players that will not see the field tonight. Hakeem Nicks is inactive tonight after a 199 yard performance last week. Ahmad Bradshaw is also inactive. The Panthers will be without their starting running back as well, with Jonathan Stewart watching from the sidelines tonight. I don't expect either offense to struggle too much ...

Eli Manning’s rally against the Bucs his best ever?
Eli Manning has accomplished a lot the last few seasons.
In winning two Super Bowls — two super bowl MVP’s — and becoming one of the best late-game quarterbacks ever, there’s few things that the 31-year-old quarterback has yet to do.
Over the last two seasons, Manning has led 11 game-winning drives for the New York Giants, the only team he has ever played for since he was...
Cam Newton was really sad in press conference following Panthers loss to Giants
Cam Newton was embarrassed by his Panthers performance Thursday night against the defending champion, New York Giants. Cam has been said to be a little to emotional at times, letting the highs and the lows of the game hit him harder than necessary (sometimes that’s just called “passion” but I guess it depends on the [...]
Panthers Q.B. Cam Newton Had A Giant Disappointment Against New York
The Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was pressured into submission against the Giants pass rush, Newton didn’t look like the Cam Newton the fans have come to know. Cam Newton only rushed for 6 yards on 6 attempts, if someone would have said Newton would average only one yard per rushing attempt, people would have thought they needed a head examination. Cam Newton is a...
Eli Manning and Giants Prove To Be Cam Newtons Kryptonite
TweetThe New York Giants and Eli Manning dismantled Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers during the Thursday Night Game, week 3 of the 2012 season. The final score was 36-7.
This wasn't even close! At half time it was 20-0. Panthers QB Cam Newton scored and performed his Superman TD celebration, the only issue was that his team was down 23-6. If Cam is Superman, the Giants are...

Cam Newton: They Didn’t Beat Us, We Beat Ourselves -
What is it about losing to the Giants that makes opposing teams think that the Giants didn’t actually have anything to do with their loss? Echoing Packers LB Clay Matthews, who said of Green Bay’s playoff loss that the Giants “didn’t beat us, we beat ourselves,” Panthers QB Cam Newton gave similar comments after Thursday...
Eli: I told Bucs I was taking a knee
Pretty much everyone watching at home knew New York Giants QB Eli Manning was planning to take a knee on the final play of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to Manning, he informed the Bucs personally that a game-ending knee was in the cards.
Manning joined WFAN in New York with Mike Francesa, and he discussed the controversial ending to Sunday's...
Buccaneer’s Greg Schiano off to an uneasy start
Despite upsetting my Carolina Panthers in week one and nearly taking down Eli Manning’s Giants in week 2, Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s head Coach Greg Schiano has drawn the ire of many fans and sports reporters a like. After blowing a 14 point halftime lead, Buc’s QB Josh Freeman threw an interception late in the fourth quarter that sealed the Giants come back. Eli Manning came to...
New York Giants defense may be banged up, but they are ready for Panthers’ QB Cam Newton.
Thursday night, the New York Giants will be facing a true double-threat of a quarterback in the Carolina Panthers’ Cam Newton. When I say double-threat I mean that he can easily tear apart a defense with his arm as well as his legs. This poises as a tough challenge for the Giants defense as they have four players that are banged up pretty well. Those players are: Cornerback Prince...

Wow, doesn’t it seem like the Giants just played a game?
Maybe it’s because the excitement of an epic finish is still fresh in our
minds.
But really it’s because the Giants will be squaring off

Is Greg Olsen worth picking up?

Plenty of Aaron Hernandez owners are searching for a replacement for their star Tight End, and they should look no further than Greg Olsen. With Jeremy Shockey gone, Olsen should see no shortage of targets as Cam Newton’s second favorite target. Ron Rivera thinks he is the next Rob Gronkowsi, and while...
Jerry Jones wants kneel-down play eliminated
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spoke out against the kneel-down play to end games during a radio interview on Tuesday. The topic was brought up in response to the controversy that took place at the end of the Giants-Buccaneers game. Giants coach Tom Coughlin was upset with Bucs coach Greg Schiano for the way his players went after Eli Manning on the final play, feeling that the Bucs violated...

Schiano viewed as a 'bully'?
Bucs coach Greg Schiano apparently has done little to improve his already negative reputation around the NFL.
Giants bring the pain in blowout
Eli Manning didn't need a scintillating fourth quarter comeback Thursday night.
The two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback, running back Andre Brown and the rest of the New York Giants were too good for the first three quarters to need one.
Brown ran for a career-high 113 yards and two touchdowns in his first NFL start and the routed the Carolina Panthers 36-7.

NFL Thursday Night Football: Preview and predictions
Tonight NFL fans are in for a treat when the New York Giants (1-1) travel to Carolina to take on Cam Newton and the Panthers (1-1). Vegas currently has the Giants as a three-point underdog since news broke earlier in the week that starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw, starting wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, and starting offensive lineman David Diehl will all be out. Last week...

After a rough week of going 0-4 and being ridiculed for my picks I here by accept the fact that I’m being identified as the second coming of Mike Greenberg. With that said I’ve got 4 picks this week looking to redeem myself and get to 4-4 on my picks and get back into the green.
