Indianapolis — New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs said his former junior college teammate Damien Nash still pops through his mind. “I think about him all the time,” Jacobs said. “I’m talking about a talented guy who had it all.” Jacobs and Nash shared the same backfield at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. Nash was a Broncos backup running back in 2006 but he collapsed of a fatal heart attack on Feb. 24, 2007 following a charity basketball game he organized to raise funds for his brother, who was waiting for a heart transplant. “A great friend of mine,” Jacobs said of Nash. “I was torn apart when I saw on TV what had happened. He was a great running back. Great kick returner as well. He was a good dude.” Jacobs has enjoyed a nice, seven-year career so far with the Giants, rushing for 1,009 yards in 2007, when he helped New York win the Super Bowl, and another 1,089 yards in 2008. If this is Jacobs' last game, "I leave with a Super Bowl ring"

INDIANAPOLIS - There is a very high chance that Brandon Jacobs won’t be back with the Giants in 2012, that Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVI showdown with the New England Patriots will be his last game with Big Blue. Jacobs says he knows all this very well, but this week, he hardly minds. ...

Brandon Jacobs Does Not Like Fantasy Football, Hates Being Asked About it

Brandon Jacobs has not seemed to enjoy much of anything this season, and up to this point I don’t think many people enjoyed him, either. Back in October, he was sick of playing for the Giants. I’m sure they were tired of having him. In November, Jacobs called out Giants fans for kicking the team while they were down. I’m sure the fans were sick of him. In December...

Giants running back Brandon Jacobs reversed field on Wednesday and indicated he could see himself returning to New York for an eighth season with the Giants according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs doesn’t believe that his good friend Plaxico Burress will be returning to the Jets next season. We just didn’t think it was going to be able to be done financially. But...

The New York Giants and Super Bowl Media Day

The New York Giants arrived in Indianapolis around 3:00PM Monday afternoon.  They settled in and had a quiet night.  Tuesday though was a different story as it was media day.  The New England Patriots had their turn first and then the New York Giants got their hour.  If you don’t know what media day is, it is basically a collection of all the media that is in town and they...

Wait……Are The Jets Playing In The Super Bowl?

The only trophy Rex will be winning this year, so why so much Jet talk at the SB? Here I was thinking that the New England Patriots and the New York Giants are playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday, not the New York Jets…..so why so much NEW YORK JET talk? Seriously…I know the media is about 90% to blame in all this but why do the SAME idiots (Antrel Rolle and Brandon Jacobs...
