According to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger, a trade that will send linebacker Keith Rivers from the Cincinnati Bengals to the New York Giants is almost complete.

Garafolo’s source told him, ”It’s going to happen.”

Right now, there’s no indication as to what the compensation will be at this point.  My guess is that the Giants will likely give up a fourth or fifth round pick for Rivers.

If Rivers can stay healthy for the Giants, he could be a potential difference maker for them, as he enters the final year of his current contract.
