The time has come. The Battle of New York that is ripe with hype and importance is finally upon us. The game between the New York Giants (7-7) and the New York Jets (8-6) at Met Life Stadium has significant amount of meaning to it, considering the playoffs are on the line for both squads. There will be no love lost between the two squads since both have been doing a whole lot of yapping. But as Tom Coughlin pointed out this week, “Talk is cheap.” Time for the Giants to ‘walk the walk’ and come together in this crucial game and get it done on the field. So, let’s assess the five things to watch. Can Eli pass on Darrelle Revis and the vaunted Jets’ secondary? This will be the story of the game. With Jake Ballard out and Mario Manningham doubtful to play, Eli Manning will only have two reliable weapons to throw to in Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz.
