Dallas Cowboys defensive end and four-year veteran NFL journeyman George Selvie has a lot of work to do to make the team’s final roster, but it looks like he could finally be finding his groove in Monte Kiffin’s defense and performing at a high level again like he did in his sophomore season at South Florida, when he racked up 14.5 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss as the Big East Defensive Player of the Year. Selvie was signed by the Cowboys after a rash of injuries early in training camp and he apparently raised some eyebrows with a pair of sacks at practice last Thursday. “That’s rare,” Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said. “It is a plus.
