Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate was a guest on “The SiriusXM Blitz” on Thursday and stated that he’s not worried about his contract situation as he heads into the final year of his current deal. “I’m going to show up to work, work hard (and) not worry about any contract talk,” Tate told “. “I’m just going to pray on it and hopefully it works out. Hopefully I’m in Seattle for a long time. I really enjoy this place. … I want to help this team out as much as I can right now. … I’m excited for this city and its organization.” Tate believes the Seahawks have something good and believes they’re set up for the long run. “I think we have a chance to be really, really special, and special for a long time,” Tate said. “If we can just stay healthy and not let (it) go to our heads … I’m sure coach (Pete) Carroll will not let that happen. … I think the last few years, teams kind of thought, ‘Seattle, we’re going to walk all over them,’ but not anymore.” Tate has been a good player for the Seahawks since coming into the NFL a few years ago.  If he can stay healthy and consistently play at a high level, he’ll have no problem getting a nice long-term deal.
