Good news for Dallas: Marion Barber is practicing

Shaking off a strained left quadriceps muscle, Marion Barber is practicing today. That's great news for the Cowboys. Even though they've got plenty of depth at RB with Felix Jones and Tashard Choice, Barber is coming off back-to-back strong outings and seems primed for a career year. LT Flozell Adams said Monday that he's never seen Barber better than he was in his 18-carry, 124-yard, one-TD outing against the Giants on Sunday night. Barber pulled up lame on his last carry, a 35-yard gain that set up a 7-yard TD dash by Jones. Barber told reporters before today's workout that he wants to play in Monday night's game against the Panthers. Wade Phillips will update the injury report around 4 p.m.
