Seattle CB Richard Sherman wasn’t all that impressed with Bengals rookie WR A.J. Green. A day after the Bengals had beaten the Seahawks 34-12 Sherman told radio station KJR reporter Curtis Crabtree:
“He’s probably one of the most overrated receivers out there. He wasn’t anything special. (Andy) Dalton is a good quarterback. He makes good decisions. But A.J. Green is just a lot of noise-talking and bad routes.”
Green had four catches for 63 yards, one being a 43-yard touchdown in the second quarter over safety Earl Thomas that gave the Bengals a 17-3 lead but he called his performance inconsistent and one in which he needed to improve greatly upon. In particular, Green wasn’t pleased with how he contested balls thrown his way that resulted in interceptions in the second half. Sherman had the coverage on him in both cases, picking off the first pass and then breaking up a pass that was intercepted by safety Kim Chancellor.
“A lot of the balls that I went up for, nine out of 10 I mak...

By most accounts, wideout A.J. Green's been everything the surprising 5-2 Bengals hoped for and more when they took him with the fifth overall pick in April's draft, but Seahawks rookie cornerback Sherman is unimpressed.
Bengals rookie A.J. Green caught a long touchdown against the Seahawks, but Seattle rookie fifth-round pick Richard Sherman did not come away impressed. “I would say he’s probably one of the most overrated receivers out there,” Sherman said on 950 AM in Seattle via the Seattle Times. “He wasn’t anything special. Dalton was a good…
The Cincinnati Bengals' neanderthalic owner Mike Brown shuffles around in a cave strewn with excrement, bones and viscera, dressed in a gray and ragged pelt of some big striped cat, gnawing on the greasy thigh of a gray seahawk dead some three or four days now and starting to rot. He roots in his own filth, muttering and cackling triumphantly. Somehow, after a decade of sullen...
