There was something of a controversy that came about following the Panthers' upset victory over the Falcons last Sunday, when Carolina defensive end Greg Hardy told Falcons players to "get the f**k off our field."
Proving payback is indeed a female dog, it was the same comment quarterback Matt Ryan made after Atlanta's Week 4 win.
Though, as we've come to find out, Hardy didn't stop there. The third-year sack artist also had a post-game encounter with Falcons kicker Matt Bryant, which he detailed to the Charlotte Observer.
“I told him politely to remove himself from our facility because it was time to go, and he invited me to come watch him in January,” Hardy said sarcastically. “It was a nice conversation.”
The run-in was an awkward one for Hardy, who literally did not know what to make of Bryant.
“I really didn't know who he was. He was so small and weird-shaped, I was trying to figure out what he did,” Hardy said. “I found out when I l...

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. On Tuesday Georgia State University announced that it had hired Jeff Jagodzinski as its offensive coordinator for its football team, meaning that he will work games in the Georgia Dome just as his former quarterback, the Atlanta Falcons Matt Ryan will.
Jagodzinski served as Boston Colleges head coach in 2007, which was Ryans senior year. The Eagles went 11-3...
Falcons WR Roddy White didn’t practice again today, according to the team’s Twitter account.
“He will not probably do a whole lot tomorrow or Saturday, and then we’ll get him out there on Sunday and see where he’s at,” said Falcons HC Mike Smith. “But it’s hard to keep Roddy White out of a football game.”
White is suffering from a knee injury but is not an injury...
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (knee) hasn’t practiced at all this week and has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Giants.

I don’t believe White has missed a game in his NFL career and I don’t expect him...
Julio Jones isn't interested in discussing his accomplishments. Bravado is not his style.
When the Atlanta Falcons (11-2) host the New York Giants (8-5) on Sunday, Jones could move into a bigger role and become quarterback Matt Ryan's top target.
Roddy White, the team's leading receiver, has a sore right knee and did not practice this week.
If Jones becomes Ryan'...
Panthers receiver Brandon LaFell (foot, toe) is questionable for Sunday's game against San Diego. Coach Ron Rivera called it 50-50 when asked about the chance of Lafell playing.Fantasy Spin:Not only does LaFell have a turf toe injury, he's also dealing with a chipped bone in his foot. Louis Murphy will start if LaFell is inactive and caught five balls for 36 yards last week.
1. Atlanta Falcons: – Atlanta, at 11-2, is coming off a tough loss to Carolina. — The Falcons, though have nothing to worry about. It was just a case of Cam Newton having a good game/performance. To address Matt Ryan’s recent five pick performance, it was simply not one of Ryan’s better games, overall [...]
The Atlanta Falcons will face a shorthanded secondary on Sunday when they host the New York Giants at the Georgia Dome in a game freighted with meaning for the NFC playoff race, but the Falcons themselves have some injury questions about their receivers.
Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (knee), whose 1,140 receiving yards leads the team, is listed as questionable, as is No. 3 wide...
Earlier this season, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White claimed that Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is only a slot receiver and that he can’t play on the outside with the “big boys”. He also claimed that he and Julio Jones are the best receiver tandem in the league.
Cruz stated that he didn’t care about White’s comments because he now has a Super Bowl ring.
The Falcons need to win this postseason to silence critics.
With only three weeks left in the season it's time to teams to step-up and secure a playoff spot or start looking forward to next season.
After a rough couple weeks I'm sitting at 132-76, I need to step it up.
Here's a quick look at this weeks games.
NY Giants at Atlanta - This is a great match...
The Atlanta Falcons were exposed for the frauds they are in their 30-20 loss Sunday to the Carolina Panthers. Atlanta, at 11-2, may be the third or fourth best team in the NFC right now.
Carolina Panthers (4-9) at San Diego Chargers (5-8)
I picked the Chargers to win at home against the Ravens and Bengals respectively in week 12 and 13 because, among other reasons, they always start playing really well at this point in the season, even when their season has been lost. Well, they couldn’t quite close the deal in either of those games, though they made it close and...
