Tweet The New York Giants are struggling to be a competitive team through the first three weeks of the season. In Sunday’s 38-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers QB Eli Manning was sacked seven times, leading to a lack of time to get to his primary receivers down the field, an issue that Hakeem Nicks […]
BEST OF MAXIM
Hakeem Nicks, the New York Giants’ No. 1 receiver, was targeted once on Sunday and ended the game against the Carolina Panthers without a catch. “I can’t throw the ball to myself,” he said after the game. Coach Tom Coughlin was asked about the comment on Monday, and said, “I’ll
Hakeem Nicks was clearly disappointed that he was only targeted once during the Giants blowout loss to the Panthers on Sunday since he had plenty of family and friends come out to watch him since he’s from North Carolina.
“It’s part of the game,” he said per the Newark Star-Ledger. “You’ve got to control what you can control. I can’t throw it to myself.”
Of course, Peyton Manning has come a long way and (hopefully) gotten a lot tougher since he spent time playing football with his brothers as a little tot, but watching this footage of big brother Cooper making Peyton cry, whine and throw a temper tantrum as a little kid still is quite amusing. The footage […]The post Here’s Peyton Manning crying and whining while playing football...
"We Still Love 'Em!" Say Rick's Cabaret NYC Girls (the official gentlemen's club of Bob's Blitz)
"The Giants played poorly and it was embarrassing," said Rick's Cabaret NY Girl Brielle. "But what they need right now is not for everyone to pile on. They need some support, some aid and comfort."
"They need to come to Rick'...

Sloppy, disorganized, dysfunctional, aggravating, and to an extent, pitiful.
These words were used to describe the New York Giants after their Week 1 performance against the Dallas Cowboys.
After yesterday’s revolting 38-0 loss against the Carolina Panthers, those five words don’t even capture the full extent of what the...
With the Giants 0-3 and very much alive in the Clowney sweepstakes, it will be very interesting to see if the players and coaches turn on each other in the coming weeks. After being targeted just one time yesterday (which was a throw away) WR Hakeem Nicks was careful with his words but to a small shot:
“It’s part of the game,” he said via Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger...
The ESPN documentary ''The Book of Manning'' shows a new generation of football fans that Peyton and Eli Manning got their athleticism and acumen from good bloodlines as well as their strong work ethic.
The film, narrated by John Goodman, explores how tragedy shaped one of the most influential families in pro sports history and serves as a reminder of how good Archie...
The New York Giants abused the Panthers 36-7 a year ago in Charlotte, but the Panthers avenged that defeat Sunday, breaking through for their first victory of the season with a 38-0 shutout. Here are four observations from the game:
1. Put away your pitchforks...Rivera's here to stay
Don't get the moving trucks ready just yet. At 0-2 heading into Sunday, owner Jerry Richardson...
When you’re 0-3, eventually the finger pointing will start. The New York Giants are in a world of trouble after being trounced 38-0 at the hands of Cam Newton and the Panthers. So naturally, quotes from the Giants locker room were going to be interesting. Receiver Hakeem Nicks didn’t appear to say all he wanted, […]
The Giants and Panther collide in a game of two teams who desperately need a win. For Hakeem Nicks, this is a homecoming he is going to enjoy.
Nicks is thinking about his next contract, so besides taking the L, if his stats fall off, he is worried he might not get a monster deal.
Tom Coughlin though didn’t like the comments he made after the 38-0 blow out to the Panthers and had this to say.
Nicks was targeted once and ended the game without a catch.
“I can’t throw the ball to myself,” he said after the game....
After watching Peyton Manning and his multiple weapons on offense dismantle the Oakland Raiders on MNF, 37-21, you have to wonder how Bill Davis and Chip Kelly might try to disrupt the aging genius this Sunday.
It won't be easy. You may not like Jughead, but you have to admit he is a master mechanic at his position. He will begin studying the Eagles defense today as if he...
Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Flacco and Peyton Manning have all won the Super Bowl once. Tom Brady, Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger have each won the top prize multiple times. Those are the headliners, the superstars, the marquee players of the NFL. Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks are what the NFL’s marketing machine is built on. They are the Disney World group. Each of them...

Another week gone by and there’s even more commotion to try and sort out around the NFL.
Two of last season’s playoff teams are still left winless, three more are under .500, including your reigning Super Bowl runners up, and the Miami Dolphins are 3-0, if you’ll believe that.
The first three weeks of this NFL season have been something of a whirlwind for most teams around...
