A rookie scored his first playoff touchdown, but it wasn’t Bengals QB Andy Dalton or Texans QB T.J. Yates. Nope, it was Houston DE J.J. Watt, who made one of the sickest plays you’ll see by a lineman. Watt’s interception and 29-yard touchdown return with 59 seconds left in the half was the difference after 30 minutes. It’s Texans 17, Bengals 10 from Reliant Stadium. Otherwise, it was a game between two well-matched teams, with defense running the show. The Bengals are hard-nosed, but even they are having trouble with Arian Foster (12 carries for 70 yards). It Yates who is struggling, going just 6 for 13 for 79 yards. Meanwhile, the Texans defense has been stout. Dalton is 13 of 18 for 120 yards, but Cedric Benson had just five carries for nine yards. But with Watt’s TD, it looks like a long road back for the Bengals. Oh, and Marvin Lewis is out of challenges already. Yikes.
