Detroit Lions defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch celebrated his 31st birthday on Thursday by being fined $7,500 by the NFL. Vanden Bosch was fined for hitting a runner who was already on the field during this past Sunday's game against the NFC North rival Chicago Bears, ESPN reported citing a source. The Bears posted a 37-13 victory over the Lions on Sunday in a game which featured plenty of contentious moments. Vanden Bosch has collected 18 tackles and five sacks in nine games this season.
