When HBO’s critically-acclaimed series “Hard Knocks” returned to the air Tuesday, viewers were excited to begin another five-week tour of an NFL club — the Miami Dolphins.

Much of this season’s first episode centered around new head coach Joe Philbin, new acquisition Chad Johnson, and rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill (more specifically, his Maxim-model wife, Lauren).

Although the show is made to give an in-depth look at the inner workings of an organization, things got a little too in-depth as far as (Ryan) Tannehill is concerned.

As Deadspin so astutely observed, cameras were rolling on a shot of GM Jeff Ireland’s computer, which captured the Player Enterprise Management System in action. This particular program is used league-wide and gives each team the 411 on its players; height, weight, combine attributes, financial details, and all other basic information.

However, the public was privy to something a bit more personal — Tannehill’s cell phone number. If you look in the left hand corner of the photo (click to enlarge), you could clearly make out the digits, complete with a Texas-based area code. Tannehill played his college ball at Texas A&M.

Whoops.
