It appears that Jason Hatcher has made a surprise move and is coming back to join the Cowboys. A few days ago, it seemed all but certain that Hatcher was headed to San Diego, but earlier today Stephen Jones said the team was “real close” on signing the defensive end.
Thanks to a reliable source known as Twitter, it appears that Hatcher has made up his mind. Hatcher recently changed his picture to the Cowboys logo and tweeted, “Thank you pops.. You told me you had me.. You came through.. #blessed”. The agreement is yet to be made official to the media, but it seems Hatcher will join Marcus Spears and Kenyon Coleman in signing to be a Cowboy.
Hatcher was a third round pick in 2006 out of Grambling and has played sparingly over the last 4 seasons. He is mostly used as a pass rush specialist but was thrust into action when Marcus Spears was hurt last year.
