With Blaine Gabbert now on IR, ending his season, the focus of the Jaguars and its fans now shifts to Chad Henne.
Henne provided the best offensive production we've seen from a Jaguars quarterback since the David Garrard era, and he did it against one of the NFL's best defensive units. It's safe to say that the Texans didn't expect the Jaguars to go vertical on them, but most of the credit has to be given to Henne, the Jaguars' offensive line, and the Jaguars' receivers, who had their best game as a unit in a very long time.
With the announcement that Henne would be the Jaguars' starting quarterback this weekend, a new sense of optimism hit me, and likely many other Jaguars fans. As I look at the Jacksonville's remaining schedule, that sense of optimism grows even more.

A BUNCH OF MALARKEY?
Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey said that if quarterback Chad Henne performs well over the remaining games this season, he will be the presumed starter heading into 2013.
Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey made it clear that if quarterback Chad Henne plays well during the final six games of the regular season, he’ll likely be their starting heading into next season.

I wanted to wait until my ownership dipped below 50% Juan…
Who would of thought that Chad Henne would breathe life into the Jaguars passing attack? Blackmon had almost as many yards yesterday than he did the entire year prior 250-236 and looked like a completely different WR. Can he keep it up? That’s the question.
Blackmon has a very beatable schedule with the Titans, Bills...
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert’s season is over. The team placed the second year player on injured reserve following a forearm and shoulder injury that occurred in a game against Houston on Nov. 19.
Chad Henne, who took over following the injury, will quarterback the team for the rest of the season. Henne finished the game with 354 yards passing to go with four...
Gabbert Placed On IR, Henne Climbs Depth ChartBlaine Gabbert suffered an injury to his left shoulder against the Houston Texans. Early in the game he was sacked and went down hard. After losing the football and landing awkwardly on his shoulder, Gabbert’s season was turned upside down.Gabbert has been far from spectacular this season. Upon being injured however, one Chad Henne...
The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed quarterback Blaine Gabbert on season ending IR. Gabbert left Sunday’s game in the first quarter with what was stated as an elbow contusion. Gabbert’s replacement, Chad Henne, provided a spark for the Jaguars who eventually fell to the Houston Texans 43-37 in overtime and fell to 1-9 for the season. Henne’s performance may have sealed...
The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed quarterback Blaine Gabbert and receiver Laurent Robinson on injured reserve, ending their season.
Gabbert hurt his right forearm in Sunday's loss at Houston. Chad Henne replaced him and threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns.
Gabbert also has a torn labrum in his left shoulder that needs surgery. The Jaguars (1-9) figured it would be better...
No more bye weeks! This is great news for everyone whose team isn’t riddled with injuries. QBs seem to be dropping like flies with concussions and other assortments of injuries, but for some teams (Jacksonville, I’m looking at you), that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Seriously, if you predicted Chad Henne could come into a game against The Texans and throw 4 TDs for 350...

It’s still neck and neck for them and the Chiefs. I don’t know if it really matters. They both suck. I think it will take one team winning to show any separation between them and I don’t see that happening. Gabbert has been put on IR with elbow and forearm problems, but it really just seems like a convenient way for Mike Mularkey to get Chad Henne...
My favorite part of this past fantasy football Sunday was a Tweet from ESPN’s resident guy who points out the obvious, Darren Rovell, about Jacksonville Jaguars QB Chad Henne only being owned in .5% of ESPN fantasy leagues. Well, no sh*t, Sherlock. If you were in my league and you had Henne on your bench, you’d either have to be the biggest Jags homer on the planet or every QB...

I used to think the Chiefs were better than the Jaguars, but I don’t really think there’s any difference between the two now that Brady Quinn is going to be the Chiefs’ starting quarterback; in fact, the Jaguars might even be better if Chad Henne can establish himself as clearly better than Gabbert (he had a great game last week, but he’s known...
Fantasy Football owners in need of a starting running back or quarterback may be in a lot of luck this week. Searching for solid pickups on the waiver wire in Fantasy Football Week 12 is never easy, yet a few injuries have presented owners with some interesting options late in the season.

Oh god, 364 days until we get to do that again? Bullsh*t. I’m making stuffing once a week and nobody can stop me except for the obesity the crippling obesity that’s surely coming.
So as far as I remember… Houston had to go to overtime, RGIII completely...
