In this article I will be discussing moves I would have made this offseason if I was the owner or GM of the Jets. In the last three years, the Jets have been very successful over all, and I applauded some of the moves they’ve made. Bold moves don't always work out but these are moves that would instantly upgrade the team. The Jets have openly admitted to being in a win-now mode and these moves would help them do that.   Let’s start with the draft   Round one: Trade back once and acquire additional picks and then draft Mike Adams. This was the biggest need coming into the 2012 season right tackle. The Jets can't expect Sanchez to lead them to the Super Bowl with the way his right tackle plays like a turnstile in the subway.   Round two: No change here, Hill was a great addition here, a complete steal. Hill has the size and speed and could one day take over the number spot if he works hard enough. The Jets lacked a receiver who had the size and speed like Sanchez’s that was s...

New York Jets: Five Training Camp Questions

The New York Jets first full training camp practice will take place this Saturday at 8 AM in Cortland, New York. Check back throughout the rest of week for Turn On The Jets preview by myself, Chris Gross and Mike Donnelly. Today we look at five questions facing the team that still need to be sorted out in the coming weeks - 1. How Annoying Will The Tim Tebow Coverage Be? - My guess...

Jets plan on using Tebow on kickoffs

Getty Images According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News via, Jets special teams coach Ben Kotwica says they may also use Tim Tebow on kickoffs this season. “I think there might be some value there on kickoff returns,” Mehta says Kotwica told him. “It’s something that we’ve talked about. I don’t think there’s any option with Tim that...

D’Brickashaw Ferguson Says The Jets Have “Greatness” Written All Over Them

D’Brickashaw Ferguson Says The Jets Have “Greatness” Written All Over Them This must be “Offensive Lineman Puff Their Chest Out Day”.  Wonder if that is a paid holiday? First, Ryan Kalil guaranteeing Super Bowl wins and now D’Brickashaw Ferguson putting in his two cents on how great the Jets are. They say never to discuss politics or religion at a dinner party...

Jets Considering Using Tim Tebow in Kickoff Coverage

I have heard the Jets talk about the wildcat, spread, punt coverage, runner, red zone and now kick coverage for the roles Tebow will play for their team, you know the one role they haven’t discussed? QUARTERBACK Considering he is the back up quarterback, you would think that would be priority #1. Tebow might also be the team’s quarterback in the red zone, which could mean...

Landry cleared to practice with Jets

The Jets activated free safety LaRon Landry from the physically unable to perform list, clearing the free-agent addition to participate in his first practice with the team Friday. Landry, signed to a one-year contract in March, was cleared to rehab away from the team facility. He was battling chronic Achilles issues and has only done individual sideline work and conditioning drills...

New York Jets Trade For Tackle Jeff Otah

The New York Jets have traded an undisclosed draft pick to the Carolina Panthers for tackle Jeff Otah, a former first round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. He has started 29 games for the Panthers but has been very banged up the past two seasons, with knee and back injuries. Otah has only played in 4 games over the past two seasons but is a “dominant run blocking right tackle” when...

D’Brickashaw Ferguson on Jets: ‘We have greatness written all over us’

Heading into the upcoming NFL season, fans of all teams are hopeful that their players are confident. If making the playoffs and winning a Super Bowl isn’t the goal, what’s the point of watching? The expectations of Jets fans are high enough, however. They probably don’t need people like D’Brickashaw Ferguson telling them how much potential the current roster has, but the...

AP Photo On Monday, the New York Jets announced that safety LaRon Landry will begin training camp on the PUP list.
