Last week: 7 (+1) Record: 6-2 Andrew Luck’s struggles against the Texans without Reggie Wayne in a near loss have to be concerning. Luck completed 18 of 40 for 271 yards and 3 touchdowns. He made plays when needed and a lot of the blame falls on his receivers, but it’s a concern. The Colts have to hope it’s not something that continues going forward. Fortunately, their schedule isn’t too bad. Among their final 8 opponents, only Cincinnati and Kansas City are currently above .500, though Arizona and Tennessee (twice) could give them some trouble if they’re not careful. Andrew Luck Gravely Struggles vs. Rams

Colts QB Andrew Luck was picked off three times in Sunday's loss to St. Louis.Fantasy Spin:By all accounts, it was Luck's poorest outing of the season. Still, he salvaged the day somewhat for fantasy owners by racking up 353 yards through the air. Even if most of it was obtained during garbage time, the yardage total was his highest of the season. The second-year phenom will...

Colts WR Reggie Wayne be the same player when he returns from knee injury?

Reggie Wayne has soared to uncommon heights over his 13 many-splendored seasons as an Indianapolis Colts wide receiver. He is eighth in NFL history with 1,006 receptions and 11th with 13,566 receiving yards. He is poised on the brink of truly historic achievement. He is poised on wounded knee. Wayne faces the heftiest challenge of his spectacular career. He suffered a torn anterior...

WATCH: Tavon Austin returns punt 98 yards for a TD

Tavon Austin his finally having the type of performance that warranted him have a high first round grade in last year’s NFL Draft. Austin has been driving the Colts crazy on special teams today, and I’m sure this blazing 98 yard punt return won’t make Chuck Pagano feel any better. H/T Bleacher Report

St. Louis Rams at Indianapolis Colts: Five Things We Learned

As the St. Louis and Indianapolis game approached I bet alot of people were more willing to watch paint dry than watch an Andrew Luck vs. Kellen Clemen matchup. The Colts came in leading their division with a (6-2) record while the Rams had lost three in a row and had fallen to (3-6).Things didn't go as expected for the Colts and Colts fans alike and here are the five things...

Indianapolis Colts: Week 10 Preview

The Colts will host the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, and will look to come out of their bye week with a victory. Indianapolis (6-2) came back from an 18-point halftime deficit to beat the Texans last week, overcoming a sloppy start to finish on a 24-3 run. The team comes into Sunday’s clash against the Rams ranked fifth in the league in DVOA, Football Outsiders’ all-encompassing...

Colts’ Trent Richardson Misses Practice

When the Indianapolis Colts traded their 2014 first-round draft pick for ex Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson, they envisioned themselves obtaining a prized young talent that would be the bell cow for a strong rushing attack well into the team’s future. Richardson has largely underwhelmed with Indianapolis, and is only averaging 3.1 yards per carry in 2013. His chance...

Trent Richardson Fully Practices Friday

Colts running back Trent Richardson (ankle) returned to a full practice Friday. Richardson didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.Fantasy Spin:The expected boost that came with moving from the Browns to the Colts has not occurred for Richardson, who has just 248 rushing yards, 52 receiving yards nad two touchdowns on 87 touches in six games with Indy. Even if he's healthy...

The Bearded Trio-Rams Edition

When the Colts had Jim Harbaugh at QB, they were known as the cardiac Colts. Now it seems as if old Harbaugh showed Luck a thing or two about bringing the cardiac Colts back- Luck has 10 4th quarter and overtime comebacks in his first year and a half. As much as I love a win, I would really like it to stop being like that, or I’m only going to live until I’m about….32. If the...

Colts continue to struggle in blowout loss to the Rams

It took a late rally a week ago for the Indianapolis Colts to top the Houston Texans, but this weekend’s game was all Rams all the time. After falling down 38 to 0, the Colts were able to muster just eight points, losing by 30 to a team that isn’t even in the postseason talk. Now we have to start wondering, what’s wrong with the Indianapolis Colts? This isn’t the first...

Tavon Austin Strikes Again, Smokes Colts DB’s For 57 Yard TD (Video)

No your eyes aren’t fooling you, that is Tavon Austin making Indianapolis Colts defenders look absolutely foolish today at the RCA Dome. Austin struck again, right after his 98 yard punt return, by catching this 57 yard bomb, with not a single Colts defender near him.

Trent Richardson to play against Rams

getty images Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson is expected to play in Week 10 against the St. Louis Rams. Richardson missed a couple of days of practice this week before returning on Friday. He’s been listed as questionable but Colts beat writers have pegged him as likely to suit up all week. Since being acquired by the Colts the 22-year-old has appeared in six...

St. Louis Rams at Indianapolis Colts: 2013 Week 10 NFL Pick

St. Louis Rams (3-6) at Indianapolis Colts (6-2) On paper, this line might be a little bit too high. The Colts are moving the chains at a 79% rate, as opposed to 75% for their opponents. Meanwhile, the Rams are moving the chains at a 72% rate, as opposed to 74% for their opponents. That suggests this line should be around 7, instead of 9.5. That being said, that doesn’t take into...

Week 10 Breakout NFL Players

What a week it has been in the NFL full of upsets and amazing games. The Carolina Panthers beat the 49ers, the Rams dominated the Indianapolis Colts and a woeful Andrew Luck, and Baltimore beat the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime after a hail mary to end regulation to tie the game up from Andy Dalton […]

Colts lose to Rams in a Comeback Proof disaster.

I guess I picked the wrong game to attend. The Colts’ Week 10 game versus the St. Louis Rams was the first game of the season that I’ve attended at Lucas Oil Stadium. Boy, was I present for a gem. Ouch. Everything about the Colts’ performance on Sunday was bad. The team returned to the version of the team we saw for three fourths of the game versus the Texans in Week 9. A bad...
