After cutting ties with the likes of Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Dallas Clark, Pierre Garcon, Gary Brackett and Melvin Bullitt, among others (and that’s just the player personnel), the Indianapolis Colts are clearly starting from scratch with a new slate in 2012.
Along with defensive tackle Cory Redding, safety Tom Zbikowski becomes one of the newest fresh faces to join the new-look Colts this off-season. Eric Hansen of the South Bend Tribune reports Indy has signed Zbikowski to a three-year contract.
The former professional boxer was selected 86th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. In four seasons with the Ravens, the 5-11, 200-pound safety started in 14 games and picked up 88 combined tackles, two interceptions and one sack.

Colts fans received a surprise after Pierre Garçon departed in free agency in the form of the legendary Reggie Wayne. While we can all agree that Wayne isn't a receiver in his prime, the lockerroom leadership and consistency is an incredible boost for a team seeking a new identity. Still, this is hardly the receiving group to which we've been accustomed to seeing in Indianapolis...

The Broncos are reportedly one of three finalists to land Peyton Manning, and Philip Rivers is hoping Denver pulls it off to increase the competition in the AFC West.
If there were any concerns about Peyton Manning‘s ego being damaged after being discarded to the side by the Indianapolis Colts for Andrew Luck, those concerns should be gone by now. Per Chris Mortenson, Peyton Manning worked out for the 49ers at Duke Tuesday.
If you thought the Titans were the dark horse in this whole thing; this blows your mind. He performed well enough that the team ordered a medical exam for him.
What does all f this mean for 49ers QB Alex Smith? All we can speculate on is that Smith’s deal is not done yet and the 49ers are exploring...
According to Greg Bedard of the Boston Globe, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne ended up choosing to return to Indianapolis over signing with the New England Patriots.
“Well….. kinda four teams at first. Then three and then two. And you Colts fans don’t wanna know who other team was. I’ll let you figure that one out. Ha! But like I said, I’m thrilled about my...
The San Francisco 49ers surprised everyone earlier in the week when they signed Randy Moss to a contract to play wide receiver. They now seem to have an even bigger surprise for the league.
Reports from Adam Schefter have the 9ers as the third team, along with the Titans and Broncos, fighting for the services of Peyton Manning. The Dolphins were told no, and it seems that the Cardinals...
