The Indianapolis Colts haven't only been adjusting to their overhauled 2012 staff and roster. A spate of injuries has had the Colts shuffling personnel on both sides of the ball every week since the beginning of the season. Now it appears that the Colts are getting relatively healthy. Interim head coach Bruce Arians told the media today that he expects the Colts to be at full strength for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins with the exception of TE Coby Fleener and CB Vontae Davis. That means that Fili Moala, Robert Mathis, Joe Reitz, Jerrell Freeman and Pat Angerer should all be ready to participate. This newfound health comes at a good time too as the Colts are entertaining serious playoff thoughts following their win against Tennessee last week. A victory over Miami, also at 4-3, could be an important AFC win and potential tiebreaker come the end of the season. Perhaps most important is the return of a healthy Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis. The two bookend pass rushers have cause problems in opponents' backfields for 10 seasons. Each values the other's presence as it reduces the amount of attention opposing offensive lines can pay to them individually. Dwight Freeney, who has missed time himself this season struggling with a high ankle sprain, was overjoyed that Mathis would be lining up on the other side of the field this week: “That’s going to be great. Hopefully we can string some games together, like back in the day how we used to do. It’s great to have my partner in crime back, definitely.” The Colts hope that Freeney and Mathis can produce some of their famous pressure on Dolphins' rookie Ryan Tannehill. The Colts' defensive line showed last week that they can get some pressure up the middle as well. If Tannehill is hurried, that could mean some turnover opportunities for the Colts linebackers and secondary.
