When it comes to injuries, 2011 has been a year from hell for the Giants. You know about the scores of starters and key players that were lost earlier this year. Now, every nick, cut, pull and strain cuts right to the bone.
Today, RB Ahmad Bradshaw, it was discovered, has a crack in a bone in his right foot again. He has had problems in the past and the Giants had hoped the screws in both his talented, troubled feet would hold. They didn’t.
Tom Coughlin had no news to report except that he was waiting for someone with a medical degree to tell him the severity of the situation. OC Kevin Gilbride was unaware of Bradshaw’s status when he gave his presser. He called the news “an eye-opener.”
RB Brandon Jacobs (pictured), the player who the Giants will turn to to fill the void should Bradshaw not be able to go, had no news either.
