Most things in this life are replaceable.  One item that I feel is not however, is a Super Bowl jersey.  Former Green Bay Packers LB Desmond Bishop can relate. Recently, an intruder broke into Bishop’s California home and stole his prized Super Bowl XLV jersey that he wore for the big show.  There’s often times that law enforcement can do very little, especially when the investigator isn’t around to help pursue the stolen property. My house in cali got broken into the other day & my SB XLV jersey was stolen. The investigating cop went on vacay tho. smh. checking ebay/CL — Desmond Bishop (@Desbishop55) August 19, 2013   Bishop is now fighting for a roster spot in Minnesota after being signed to a one-year deal. If he can’t recover this irreplaceable item, it should at least give him extra incentive to acquire another one in a Vikings uniform. There's not a lot to add to this other than you know this stinks for Vikings linebacker Desmond Bishop. Vikings' rookie Shariff Floyd undergoes minor knee surgery

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Sharrif Floyd's lingering knee trouble sent him to the operating room and out of the rest of the preseason for the Minnesota Vikings. Frazier said he isn't likely to play again in the preseason but...

Dearest Vikings Fans,Unless Daunte Culpepper (or Randall Cunningham) suits up, the emotional Cris Carter cries his way back into the League (too soon?), and Coach Leslie Frazier calls up the legendary Randy Moss and asks him to play this season, keep your hopes a recluse. If I hit the bull's eye with this prediction, the Purple and Gold will hate me even more. Adrian Peterson ready for action ... on defense?

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Adrian Peterson has the NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards under his belt, could he be angling for the Defensive Player of the Year award too? Peterson proved to be nearly unstoppable on the offensive side of the ball on his way to winning the NFL MVP last season and he's set his goals even higher this season as he tries to break the single...

Vikings' offense has been rough with Peterson out

Minnesota's offense hasn't done much well in the first two preseason games. Then again, the Vikings have kept the league MVP on the sideline. The absence of running back Adrian Peterson caught the eye of wide receiver Greg Jennings when he walked off the field after a rough series in a recent exhibition game. At first, Jennings said he was concerned. Then he realized who...

Vikings release injured cornerback Jacob Lacey

The Minnesota Vikings have released cornerback Jacob Lacey a week after his arthroscopic knee surgery. After three seasons with Indianapolis and one with Detroit, Lacey signed with the Vikings. It's about that time again. Cool breezes blowing away the summer heat, kids going back to school, and football, glorious football. Adrian Peterson Answered Our Question in a Reddit AMA

Is that a humble-brag? Yes it is. But we'll get to that in a moment. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson hosted a Reddit AMA yesterday, where he answered a bunch of questions from anonymous weirdoes. It wasn't quite as eventful as the one that Fred Smoot hosted (Okra Patch, anyone?), but it was both entertaining and insightful, particularly if you're a...
